Videographer/Video Editor

Smart Solutions Advertising is looking for an imaginative Videographer/ Editor. Our ideal candidate must have an artistic eye for compelling storytelling, short composition, lighting and detail.
Responsibilities:
- Film and edit high-quality video content with a focus on creating engaging videos for marketing and social media.
- Perform post-production work, such as editing, motion graphics, color correction and audio adjustments ensuring the film retains the mood, style, and delivery as specified.
- Brainstorm on script marketing and social media videos.
- Work independently, as well as part of a team, to establish project deliverables.
- Be agile and willing to revise and improve the content on an ongoing basis.
- Engage in creative problem solving and evaluate video performance analytic.
- Create storyboards and sketches to help nail down ideas or video script through visualization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of experience in creating quality video content.
- Proficient in Full Adobe Suite – especially Premiere Pro, After Effects & Photoshop – Illustrator and Audition skills a plus.
- Strong understanding of production processes such as lighting, camera work, and post-production/editing.
- Ability to edit and post from rough cut to final deliverable.
- Ability to operate cameras and, when needed, other production equipment to shoot footage with a technical and creative proficiency.
- Comfort with creating and editing in any video formats from a professional camera to mobile phone.
- Highly skilled in video editing and motion graphics via Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, and After Effects.
- Excellent digital media file management.
- Experience in a fast-paced, tight deadline, production teamwork environment.
- Driver’s License.
- *Portfolio or online samples to showcase work samples is a must.
